Bootleg Hooch celebrates the great American musical styles of rockabilly, country, jump blues, and juke joint swing. The originators of these styles were hard playing musicians who were not afraid to ruffle a few feathers to make their sound.
Our personnel includes Reverend Kingfish on lead guitar and vocals. Rev has been a student of American roots music his entire life and has a special love for early rock. Jay Bird on bass is the king of slap. When he gets going just try to sit still – you can’t! Big Cat plays rhythm guitar and knocks out great tunes from Loretta Lynn to Patsy Cline. Casey on drums keeps thing on track and cookin’.
