Chris Cady - 6-9pm

Chris is a New York native – born in Syracuse, raised in Rochester. After a couple decades away he returned to Rochester, rejoining the musical community in which he was blessed to grow up.

Chris has played in a wide variety of bands across many musical formats. He has played clubs and campuses across NY and New England, along the way playing opening gigs for NRBQ, Robert Hunter, Papa John Creach, The New Riders of the Purple Sage and others. He’s also traveled North America, including playing for the NFL (Super Bowls XXI & XXII), recording a television series in San Diego, and playing a whirlwind tour of 16 gigs over 18 days at the Calgary Olympics in 1988.

Today Chris juggles multiple music projects including solo, duo and ensemble work. Chris brings a thoughtful soul to his vocals, supporting his voice with an energetic, rhythmic guitar style that ranges from sweet to powerful. His solo act features a wide variety of select covers – songs you’ll recognize but won’t hear everywhere you go.
