Acustic Brew

ACOUSTIC BREW is Rochester’s Fun, Energetic Acoustic Guitar Based Band that specializes in an wide mix of music mostly from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current artists. Even though the name indicates “Acoustic” (primarily because of the Acoustic Guitar driven sound) don’t expect to catch any Zzzzz’s at an Acoustic Brew show!  Armed with Acoustic Guitars, Bass, Drums and Vocals, no song is considered out of reach which sets an Acoustic Brew show apart and has made them a staple of the Rochester, NY music scene over the past 20 years! Combined with comedic personalities and exceptional musicianship it sets the table for a great evening of entertainment and fun, which translates into a memorable time for your event or establishment!  A glimpse of Acoustic Brew’s extensive song list and references of past performances guarantees crowds will be dancing, laughing, and singing along in no time.

Matt Beeman (Guitar/Vocals):  
Matt has an extensive background as a professional musician in Rochester, NY. Some of his past work has been with Nik Entertainment and Disney Cruise Lines, as well as the Rochester, NY favorites: Big Eyed Phish (Dave Matthew Tribute Band), Tryptic Soy (Originals) and Zero Gravity (Covers). Over his musical career, Matt has had the opportunity to share stages with some of the best Regional and National Acts in the Country. Acoustic Brew allows Matt’s vocal and guitar talents to shine through on each song, while his energetic and comedic personality makes everyone feel like they are part of the show. 

Eric Neu (Bass/Vocals):  
Eric has a long history of playing professionally for over 40 years. As a member of the high demand group 50/50, Eric played to sold out crowds all over the Region. Other bands such as Catch 22. Paul Cummings, Puddle, Dial Up and Five-0 put a focus on Eric’s Bass playing and vocal abilities which allow for a truly energetic show each and every time. Eric has been playing bass and singing for over 40 years now and even played with Rock Legend Lou Gramm for a short time! He learned his music theory and stage presence from renowned Rochester bassist Mike “Mikel” Amico.  Eric`s bass collection has grown quite extensive throughout the years. At one point it had reached 23, but at present he says it’s around 8. Fender Precision Basses and Ampeg Amplifiers are his choice. 

Dom Ciaccia (Cajon/Percussion/Drums):  
Dom is currently a high demand drummer and percussionist in the Rochester area lending his talents to past bands such as Something Else, Puddle and Zero Gravity. In addition to numerous recording and session projects Dom is currently a member of Rochester NY’s Springer, Cherry Bomb and Syracuse’s powerhouse Scars N Stripes while not playing with Acoustic Brew. Whether he is playing the Cajon (wooden box percussive instrument), compact drum kit, V-Drums (electronic kit) or full drum kit Dom provides the steady beat and energy to every song.
