Growl Bear is an Alternative Country/Americana/Folk Rock band out of the Rochester, NY area that plays covers and originals. We like to play music that has lots of vocal harmonies. We were founded out of a love for bands like The Jayhawks, Wilco, Old 97s, Jason Isbell, Avett Brothers, and all the bands that influenced them.
Growl Bear Duo – Jeremy Button and Kerry McGrath will kick off the evening and will be joined by Jason Engleson later in the evening.
Plus it’s Jeremy’s birthday – come out and celebrate Growl Bear’s debut at B-Side.
