Growing up with influences like Dylan, Neil Young, and Tom Petty, River’s songs are crafted with lyrical substance and vibrant melodies. For him, it’s all about the songs. “The only thing that really matters is how the song makes you feel”, River states.

The mood of his solo performances can change drastically from song to song. Introspective and soft one moment, joyous and rowdy the next. Connecting with audiences on all different levels. Never straying too far from his bluesy rock and roll roots, River seamlessly incorporates folk and Americana into his sound. “I hope my songs add some kind of value to the listener’s life, just like so many artists have added value to mine”.
