Skillful piano playing, a powerful voice, and a charming stage presence, Sarah De Vallière (duh-VAHL-yay) has been gaining attention in Western New York as a singer-songwriter with a unique musical perspective. Accompanied by an A-list band (Mark Balestra, Brad Johnson and Emmet Ientelucci), charisma and an electric energy are brought to songs that are equal parts thoughtful, honest, catchy.

Playing a mix of originals and “covers with a twist”, the style is a blend of Americana, jazz, rock, and blues, described as “Joni Mitchell meets Randy Newman at a bar” and “A cross between Sara Bareilles catchiness and Tori Amos badassery”

An award winning songwriter and composer with a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music (’11), De Vallière crafts lush soundscapes for songs that explore the complexities of the human experience. A natural storyteller, her carefully crafted lyrics and catchy, moving melodies create innovative and impactful songs that have received radio play across America and beyond.

Her latest album, “The Healing,” is an even more expansive and ambitious project, showcasing her diverse musical background, technical expertise and visceral vulnerability.
